I knew I was a worshipper as a child- probably because I love music. It wasn’t odd for me to tuck myself away in my bedroom and put a worship CD on and just worship for a while… sometimes a long while. I would sing along or pray, sometimes just let the words soak into my spirit and meditate on them.

As anyone who loves music knows, there are certain songs that just feel like they’re a part of you.  When my father was dying of cancer in November of 2012, this song came on my CD player on a drive home and it’s been implanted in my soul ever since.

To say I love this song is an understatement. This song is my ultimate worship song. It helped me realize how much bigger God was while we faced my father’s situation and even his death.

I think about my father when this song plays and I always cry because, maybe one day, I’ll hear the angels singing it when I see him again.
