On March 31st 2013 the Vatican will be setting in motion the potential end of the world. Sound extreme?
Petrus Romanus or “Peter the Roman” is prophesied to be the next Pope after Pope Benedict who will resign on February 28th 2013. If you are aware of your current surroundings and are actually less self-absorbed than those around you, you will have noticed the numerous accounts of 12th century St. Malachy who beheld a vision of 112 popes after arriving to Rome from Ireland. In this vision he witnessed the name of each pope and, to this day, has been correct about each and every one. What makes this fact interesting is that each pope, after elected, names themselves. There’s no way this man from 1139 A.D. would have this information, right?
The current Pope, stepping down in a seemingly ominous fashion, seemed to be taking the Catholic Church back to it’s Biblical roots with it’s anti-abortion and anti-homosexual teachings. His symbol within his coat of arms was an olive branch – a universal sign for peace and a correlation to Jesus’ sermon on the Mount of Olives. Only after a 7 1/2 year papacy, Pope Benedict – whose real name is Joseph Aloisius Ratzinger – will move to make room for what seems to be the last and final pope of the world.
If you consider yourself a good Christian – or Catholic – you will know that Peter is the “rock” where Christ built his church as stated in Matthew 16:18. If Peter was considered the first pope it’s only fitting that we should end with a Peter as the final pope….No?
As the Cardinals take to their secret room and elect the next Pope they will ask him what he would like to be called. On March 31, 2013 if this new pope answers Petrus Romanus you may want to take stock on your spiritual life and what side you’ll be fighting on.
It’s prophesied that Petrus Romanus (Peter the Roman) will be in position “In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church” and he “will feed his flock amid many tribulations, after which the seven-hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people. The End.” The “seven-hilled city” is Rome and tribulations are….well… tribulations. Bible reading and believing Christians recognize this as the works of the False Prophet, the one who assists the Anti-Christ during the last and final days. Don’t believe me? Read the Bible. It’s been in there for thousands of years in scriptures like Mark 13:22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
How factual is all of this information on the new pope and his False Prophet calling? We’ll find out soon although I long ago made a commitment to live for God not only in my heart but with my life and in my actions. I do believe a day of judgement is coming and I do believe it’s soon but is this 900 year old prophecy going to be correct for the 112th time? We’ll find out on March 31st 2013. Either way, I know where I’ll be… do you?
